NSC Staffing is seeking experienced Marine Brush & Roll Painters for shipyard work in Newport News, VA. Candidates must have experience applying marine coatings, preparing surfaces, and working safely in an industrial shipyard environment.

Responsibilities include surface prep, applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings, maintaining coating thickness, and following safety procedures. Applicants should be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and climb ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of marine brush and roll painting experience.
• Experience with epoxy and non-epoxy coatings.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and power tool operation.
• Able to wear required respiratory protection.
• Able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and squat.
• Available to work any shift.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and using power tools.

$22.48 – $27.31 per hour, plus per diem for eligible non-local candidates.
