What You’ll Do
- Program and operate up to three Bruderer machines to appropriately cut and press fins/turbulators as specified in work order instructions.
- Read and understand detailed work order instructions.
- Use a chain hoist to load aluminum raw material onto the machine.
- Adjust machine settings according to the work order.
- Program and simultaneously operate up to three machines.
- Continuously inspect the quality of produced fins/turbulators.
- Document and label the fins/turbulators after production.
- Sort, store, and package completed fins/turbulators as directed.
- Meet production quotas set by the Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines as needed.
- Report issues to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel promptly.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and the environmental management system (EMS).
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to use basic computer programs.
- Basic math skills and use of measuring tools.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work the agreed shift (1pm-9pm, Mon‑Fri).
Experience With the Following Is a Plus
- Ability to walk (100%) most of the time, including bending, stooping, pulling, pushing, twisting, and turning.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100%) most of the time.
- Ability to use a pallet jack and chain hoist.
- Use of safety equipment such as steel‑toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves (provided by AKG, except steel‑toe shoes).
