Job description

ThePhysical Therapy Assistant (PTA)is employed by the agency and is responsible for providing select physical therapy interventions. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care (POC) under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist (PT).

Location: Cameron County (Los Fresnos, Brownsville, San Benito, Harlingen)

  • Must be able to treat both pediatrics and adults' clients.
  • You've got to be certified - Current and unrestricted license in Texas.
  • Experience in a big plus; we appreciate your value and knowledge - One year of experience is best.
  • We want our clients to be able to depend on you! - Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Please have a valid driver's license, reliable car, and auto insurance

What You Would Do

  • Provide the client with only the best treatment and direct patient care using sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive client care outcomes.
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for client.
  • Provide accurate, detailed and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the therapy process.
