Tarian Guard Services is hiring security officers to protect diverse client sites in New York. You will uphold safety, deter wrongdoing, and provide reliable service while representing our brand on a national scale.

The role requires a NYS security guard license, background check, and CPR certification, with opportunities for career progression, full benefits, and training through a growing organization based in New York City and Brooklyn.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid and Current New York State Security Guard License.
• F02 Fire Guard (or N32 Certificate of Fitness) from FDNY.
• Previous security experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tariandriving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Security Officers are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organization and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
• A commitment to taking care of fellow officers, our clients, and their property
• Adhere to all Company service and operating standards
• Immediately respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance
• Follow procedures for fire prevention, property patrol, and incident reporting
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
