Job summary

Knowledge Road is seeking NYS-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to work as school-based speech therapists on a 1099 basis in Brooklyn. The position pays $75 to $95 an hour depending on group size and caseload.

We hold a New York City DOE contract to provide IEP- and IESP-mandated services to students across independent, parochial and charter schools in Brooklyn, with some homeschooled students. Work is year-round and cases vary by schedule and school needs.

Qualifications

• NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Availability to work in Brooklyn, NY.
• Independent contractor (1099) basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver speech-language therapy aligned to each student’s IEP or IESP goals.
• Keep session notes and complete required documentation.
• Complete progress reports as required.
• Communicate with the school, the family and the student’s team.
• Attend IEP meetings for the students you work with.
