Position Purpose

Brooklyn Elementary School Building Substitute: This position will be full time work and assignments will be based on needs as determined by building administration.

Essential Functions

• Uphold administrative regulations, school rules and policies as determined by state and local boards of education and negotiated agreements
• Maintain building expectations and offer high quality instruction in the absence of the classroom teachers
• Assignments will vary daily and will include any and all building duties such as bus, recess and lunch duty
• Report to classroom teachers what assignments were completed and the behavior of students in the absence of the teachers
• Follow the professional code of conduct for all teachers as well as the expectations for Brooklyn Employees

Additional Duties

• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators

Pay: $150/day for all days worked. Hours: 8:30-3:45. Must maintain 95% attendance.
