Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in community organizing or program management.
• Familiarity with the New York Jewish community, especially Brooklyn.
• Skilled in communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and develop opportunities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with local stakeholders and underserved Jewish communities.
• Organize roundtables to foster partnerships and implement solutions.
• Design community-driven programs that meet local needs.
• Act as UJA's representative in Brooklyn at community events.
• Facilitate collaboration with other faith and ethnic communities in Brooklyn.
• Manage the Brooklyn Advisory Council and engage volunteers.
• Oversee community-wide project implementation, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Collaborate internally to advocate for community needs.
