MTH Pumps is hiring a full-time manual Mold Maker for the P&W Foundry in Plano, IL to produce green sand molds for bronze castings. The role works with a team to meet growing demand and offers $17 per hour, tuition reimbursement, and medical and dental insurance. Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, evenings free.

You will assist with patterns, inventory, preparation for shipments, and daily metal inventory. Training is provided and opportunities exist to learn other foundry processes as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Experience in a foundry preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patterns and inventory of castings by count and location.
• Prepare castings and paperwork for shipments.
• Assist with monthly metal inventory counts.
• Melting and pouring of casting, including pre-heating oven, loading/unloading shells, and preparing pouring floor.
• Finish castings for shipment using belt sander/grinders or shot blaster.
• Learn other foundry processes and provide backup in related roles.
