Job summary

Knowledge Road is hiring NYS-certified Special Education Teachers to work as SETSS providers on a 1099 basis in Bronx. The position offers flexible hours with no minimum caseload and pay scales by group size.

Rates range from $60/hour for one student to $100/hour for larger groups, with payment by direct deposit after sessions. Sessions occur primarily in Bronx schools during the day, with some after school or weekend options.

Qualifications

• NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6, 7-12 or All Grades) required.
• Availability to work in Bronx, NY required.
• Cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education within the past year; if you have, a special approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver one-to-one or small-group SETSS instruction aligned to each student’s IEP or IESP goals.
• Keep session notes and complete required documentation.
• Complete progress reports as required.
• Communicate with the school, the family and the student’s team.
• Attend IESP meetings for the students you work with.
