TemPositions Group of Companies in the Bronx, NY, seeks a Staff Attorney to champion housing rights for low-income families. You will counsel clients, represent tenants in Bronx County court, and manage litigation before agencies.

Hybrid schedule with on-site days and mandatory in-person court appearances supports flexible work while keeping courtroom engagement. New bar admittees and seasoned attorneys are welcome; fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Educational background: J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School.
• Experience in litigation and landlord-tenant matters is a plus.
• Familiarity with NYC housing law and public benefits is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel clients and assist them in maintaining their housing.
• Handle non-payment and holdover proceedings in court; represent tenants at trial.
• Conduct outreach, trainings, and community education to empower tenants.
