Job summary

Brilla Schools in the Bronx seeks an elementary literacy teacher to deliver content-rich reading, writing and phonics instruction within Brilla’s close-reading blocks. You will implement rigorous, classically-inspired lessons aligned to grade-level standards and growth targets across one grade level (2-4).

The role emphasizes collaboration with other literacy teachers, ongoing professional development, and close partnerships with families to support scholars’ outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Current teaching certification as an elementary school teacher (preferred).
• Special Education credential and experience (highly preferred).
