Description

Summary:

The Renewal Broker's primary responsibility is to manage the renewal process for existing insurance policies. They will work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and underwriters to ensure a smooth renewal process while maximizing retention rates and maintaining client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Issue binders and miscellaneous forms.
  2. Prepare statement of values and loss analysis.
  3. Invoicing.
  4. General correspondence with brokers and carriers including but not limited to ordering loss runs and requesting renewal information.
  5. Pending follow up on specific account issues.
  6. Insurance policy issuance and endorsement issuance for binding authority companies.
  7. Develop strong, long-term relationships with brokers to add to a profitable book of business.
  8. Negotiate terms and conditions with the carriers.
  9. Recognize and create cross-sell opportunities for other products.
  10. Ability to travel to broker, carrier, and employer meetings.
  11. Maintain PA Producer and PA Surplus Lines licenses.
