Qualifications

• 3+ years of P&C Middle Market broker-facing underwriting experience.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain solid relationships with internal and external partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to think analytically about business problems and propose solutions.
• High energy self-starter with resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong time, organizational and desk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and underwrites a Middle Market book of business.
• Analyzes agency books on a quarterly basis for potential action.
• Applies underwriting guidelines to decisions.
• Underwrites highly complex business with limited senior support.
• Understands applicable laws, regulations and governance for agency management.
• Acts as trusted advisor to Brokers and Agents.
