Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Broiler Manager to lead day-to-day poultry operations, schedule live birds for processing, and train service technicians. The role requires experience in poultry grow-out and supervision, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a valid driver's license.

You will coordinate with hatcheries, feed mills, and veterinarians, monitor flock health, and drive cost improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience in poultry grow-out operations.
• 5-7 year’s experience supervising others.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Current driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day scheduling of live birds to be processed.
• Train and develop service techs.
• Review service reports regularly and assist service techs with issues.
• Ensure company programs are followed on farms including Mtech reporting.
• Communicate daily with the Live Operations Manager on performance and cost issues.
• Monitor adherence to established programs by personnel and contractors.
• Direct the placement of new chicks and ordering of crucial supplies.
• Monitor day-to-day flock health and plant efficiency.
• Maintain Cost Improvement Program.
• Maintain communication with Hatcheries, Feedmill, Live Haul, and Company Veterinarian regarding issues.

Broiler Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY

Directs and coordinates broiler operations to ensure the delivery of a quality product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION
