Job summary

Peppermill is seeking a Television Technician to install and maintain television and broadcast equipment, ensuring systems function properly. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting hotel AV, RF, and control infrastructure.

The role requires lifting up to 40lbs, climbing ladders, and fluency in English. A high school diploma or trade school is preferred, with strong knowledge of electronic equipment and basic tools essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Trade school a plus).
• Must have vast knowledge of electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of RF signal theory, signal paths, networking and computer systems preferred.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in high spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to move in and out of, and work inside, confined spaces.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot high tech electronic equipment.
• Adapt technical and standard operating procedures for the position including hotel audio, video, RF and control infrastructure.
• Repair and maintain television equipment.
• Maintain all departmental tools and equipment in accordance with all company regulations.
• Assist with product ordering and inventory as needed.
• Perform other related duties and assigned projects.
• Assist with cleaning of distribution head-ends and the equipment located within.
