Job summary

FOX Sports, the industry leader in live sports, is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to ensure high availability of the IT network and core media production systems. You’ll bridge enterprise networking with daily broadcast support, focusing on ST 2110 IP cores, multicast routing, and facility migrations.

You’ll collaborate with editors, operators, and engineers, creating SOPs and runbooks while supporting Adobe Creative Cloud, Grass Valley Stratus, and live graphics systems in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a broadcast facility, live production environment, or media-focused IT role
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VRFs, DHCP, DNS, and non-blocking switch architectures
• Experience with IP Multicast (PIM, IGMPv2/v3) and SMPTE ST 2110/AES67/PTP
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro) and broadcast graphics systems
• Strong service orientation and ability to support end users in fast-paced environments
• Meticulous IP documentation and routine maintenance planning

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize core broadcast network infrastructure for uncompressed video/audio metadata
• Configure IGMP, PIM, and multicast architectures for live broadcasts
• Monitor network performance and QoS to prevent packet loss and jitter
• Own IP documentation, topologies, VLAN maps, and subnet allocations
• Plan facility upgrades and migrations (SDI/POTS to ST 2110)
• Develop SOPs, runbooks, and end-user guides
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused technical support
• Assist with desktop, OS, and software support for production workstations
• Participate in on-call rotation for live events
• Provide Tier-2/3 support for post-production, ingest, and graphics systems
• Maintain Adobe CC in edit suites and live graphics workflows
• Support Grass Valley Stratus ingest workflows and content management
• Maintain VizRT and Ross Xpression graphics systems
