Job summary

QVC Group in West Chester, PA seeks a Media Operations Technician to ensure seamless transmission and streaming across platforms. You will work from our West Chester headquarters daily, supporting live feeds, playout, and end-to-end media workflows in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1+ year of engineering/media operations experience, familiarity with broadcast signal chains, and capability to troubleshoot HD/SD video and audio. Shift coverage includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of engineering, control room, media operations or network operations in TV broadcast.
• Experience operating Media Operations Switcher and related equipment.
• Troubleshooting standard and HD broadcast video/audio signals.
• Server-based broadcast operation experience.
• Understanding of analog/digital signal chains and levels.
• Knowledge of television production processes and broadcast operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain health/quality of outbound transmissions and inbound returns.
• Support live feeds and social media simulcast programming.
• Playout of live/non-live channels; execute live streaming to platforms.
• Monitor dashboards; troubleshoot issues; perform QC on signals.
• Asset management: recording, ingest, archiving, restoring; MAM workflows.
• Perform recovery per procedures; report issues via ticketing system.
• Configure/operate systems in Media Operations incl. routing; ensure SLAs.
• Provide tech support for new projects; manage back-up programming.
• Repair and maintain broadcast equipment; first-line issue resolution.
• Document shift status and issues in ZEUS system.
• Monitor NOC dashboard and broadcast network devices.
