Job Description

THE ROLE: Broadcast Operations FAST Coordinator (Temporary)

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (with some flexibility). This role reports to Broadcast Operations in Stamford, CT. The FAST coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and checking FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) channel logs, elevating issues and working closely with Digital, Distribution, and Marketing partners. Additional duties include supporting Broadcast Operations with finalizing linear broadcast schedules and validating asset readiness for transmission.

What You’ll Do

• Support in finalizing FAST logs using the FAST platform’s scheduling tool.
• Learn multiple vendor scheduling platforms.
• Fill workspace with channel-specific elements/assets.
• Schedule programs, cross-referencing between WhatsOn and the platform.
• Loop and save full day/week schedules for each network.
• Check logs for schedule validation, over/under runs, and promo updates.
• Ensure series artwork is attached to episodes.

Support Linear Logs & Scheduling

• Learn to unfinalize and finalize logs in Wide Orbit.
• Use Bridge On Demand for secondary events scheduling.
• Validate secondary events schedules in Bridge’s Secondary Events Manager.
• Generate playlist files in Bridge for assigned networks.

Support Broadcast Media Operations

• Validate on-air programs for content and timing accuracy.
• Monitor and validate the Advance Air Feed assets.
• Document and escalate errors or issues.
• Support branding by confirming graphics as scheduled.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Television, or 1-3 years’ related experience preferred.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Analytical and creative thinking.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about TV industry.
• Team player.

Note: This is a temporary role through a third-party vendor, lasting up to 18 months.

Compensation
