Job summary

KMBC-TV / KCWE-TV, the ABC and CW affiliates in Kansas City, MO, are seeking a Master Control Operator to oversee broadcast content streams. You will monitor multiple air channels, ingest and time content, build playlists, and ensure quality control and regulatory compliance for on-air product.

Responsibilities include documenting transmission events and coordinating with teams to assure proper play of commercials and programs, including weekend and shift work as needed.

Broadcast Master Control Operator

You will monitor multiple air channels, preparing content, building playlists, maintaining regulatory compliance, assuring quality control of on-air product, and documenting transmission events. You will ingest commercials and programs, timing them and making sure they all play on air properly.

• Higher education in technology, SBE or related military experience will be considered
• Must be willing to work all shifts and weekends
