Job summary

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of electronic theory and FCC rules in a broadcast facility.
• At least 45 college units in electronics or 700 hours of formal electronics training with 2+ years of relevant work.
• Experience maintaining studio, transmitter, post-production and master control equipment; configuring network gear.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and service studio and transmitter equipment and related devices.
• Configure PCs and network gear across multiple VLANs per IT standards.
• Monitor transmission systems and ensure FCC and PBS compliance; document maintenance.
• Occasional travel to remote transmitter sites for repairs and inspections.
• Provide on-call 24/7 technical support with a 1-hour response time.
