Job summary

PGA TOUR, Inc. seeks a hands-on Building Engineer HVAC to operate and maintain HVAC, chilled water, AHUs and precision cooling for live broadcast studios and control rooms.

You will oversee critical infrastructure including UPS, generators, chillers and cooling units to prevent downtime. Responsibilities include optimizing building automation, coordinating with DTS teams, and ensuring precise environmental conditions with strict safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in commercial, mission-critical facilities such as hospital or media/broadcast environments.
• HVAC and mechanical system operations expertise required; data centers, studios or critical environments preferred.
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications; operate under live broadcast pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC and chilled water systems in studio/technical spaces.
• Monitor critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, ATS, chillers, CRAH/CRAC).
• Manage building systems (BMS/BAS) for optimal environmental conditions and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with broadcast engineering for production needs and facility upgrades.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and uptime with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Document inspections and performance; support incident root-cause analysis.
