Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Fresno, CA seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to lead and support the station’s engineering efforts. You will act as the primary liaison between the engineering team, leadership, and location staff, guiding maintenance and improvements for broadcast systems.

Responsibilities include providing transmitter support, upgrading and repairing equipment, overseeing networking tasks, and assisting the News department for live production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering-related fields or formal training.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and point of contact for equipment and technology at the location.
• Provide transmitter support and replace/repair defective equipment.
• Handle networking/wiring and department budgeting tasks.
