Job Description - Brissago Expeditor - PT (250000F0)

We are looking for an Expeditor to join our team! This role is perfect for someone looking for an entry-level position and hands-on experience in a Restaurant environment. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and exceptional plated menu items while maintaining a sense of urgency in the execution of the expo line and fast-efficient clearing of table tops throughout the restaurant.

The Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand the menu and wine list, including ingredients and preparation of the dishes.
  • Deliver all required Service Accents to the guest (e.g., SSA presentation, bread presentation).
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment.
  • Transport and polish clean wares, utensils, and accessories to the area needed.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and bridging the service between the FOH and BOH.
  • Comply with opening and closing as well as running side work necessities.
  • Direct and consistent communication with the culinary and management team.
  • Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding service, product, and personnel.
  • Effectively process service responsibilities from service staff (e.g., Servers and Bartenders).
  • Verbally describe and present the hotel's food offerings in a professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year or more of service assistance in a fine dining outlet.
  • Able to read, write, and speak verbally in English.
  • Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all department management, staff, personnel, and the general public.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Reporting Relationship: F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager.

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
