The Bartender is responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items to guests, courteously, and efficiently in accordance with company standards. Assists in the maintenance of the bar area equipment via opening and closing checklists. Directs, implements and maintains a philosophy congruent with Company culture, which serves as a guide to all staff members.

  7. Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
  8. Facilitates a professional and ethical manner that is beyond reproach.
  9. Ensures compliance when determining potentially intoxicated guests per Company standards and procedures.
  10. Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all departmental policies and procedures and service standards.
  11. Ensures proper documentation for all accidents and incidents per Company policies and procedures.
  12. Maintains complete knowledge of all alcoholic menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, and daily specials.
  13. Maintains complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
  14. Maintains complete knowledge of and strictly abides by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated patrons, and driving while under the influence.
  15. Maintains complete knowledge of bar setups, hours of operation, drink prices, and menu items.
  16. Maintains complete knowledge of all liquor inventories available.
  17. Maintains complete knowledge of property layouts, table/seat/station numbers, proper table setups, room capacity, hours of operation, price ranges, and dress codes.
  18. Greets guests and takes orders utilizing suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
  19. Prepares guest checks and processes credit cards while adhering to all cash handling and credit card procedures.
