Role Overview

The Server Assistant provides assistance to the service, bartending, and host/hostess staff to ensure smooth guest service operations. Responsibilities include maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. The role involves embodying and promoting the company's culture and service standards.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create a high-energy environment that values Guest Service standards and promotes guest engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure every guest contact point exceeds expectations to foster repeat business.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members, fostering a respectful and open work environment.
  • Model and implement company practices to maintain a vibrant atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
  • Make sound, effective decisions that benefit both guests and the team.
  • Provide prompt, friendly service in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain professionalism and ethical standards at all times.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Document all accidents and incidents per company policies.
  • Know property layout, table/seat/station numbers, and service standards thoroughly.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation, and presentation standards.
  • Stay organized and focused when serving multiple guests.
  • Perform physical movements required for the job efficiently.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Follow sanitation and health regulations strictly.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of workstations and tables.
  • Assist with table settings, replenishing supplies, and resetting tables promptly after guest departure.
  • Support staff by bussing tables and attending to guest needs.

Additional Information

Preferred: One to two years of experience or equivalent training.
