Job Overview

The Server Assistant provides assistance to the service, bartending, and host/hostess staff to ensure the smooth operation of guest service in the restaurant. Responsibilities include maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. The role supports the company's culture and standards, serving as a guide to all staff members.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Strives to create an operation that values Company standards of Guest Service, ensuring every contact with the Guest meets or exceeds expectations and fosters repeat business.
  2. Creates a high-energy environment that promotes engagement and enjoyment for both the family and the Guest.
  3. Communicates effectively with management and team members, fostering an open and respectful work environment.
  4. Models and executes Company practices to maintain a lively environment for guests and staff.
  5. Makes sound decisions that benefit the guest and the team with confidence.
  6. Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
  7. Maintains professionalism and adheres to ethical standards.
  8. Follows all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards, including documentation of accidents and incidents.
  9. Knows property layout, table/station numbers, setup standards, capacity, hours, pricing, and dress code.
  10. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation, presentation, and standards.
  11. Organizes and concentrates effectively to serve multiple guests efficiently.
  12. Performs physical movements required for the job and works with minimal supervision.
  13. Adheres to sanitation and health regulations, maintaining cleanliness of workstations and tables.
  14. Assists with table bussing, replenishing supplies, and guest needs.
  15. Typically requires one to two years of experience or equivalent training.
