Youth and Adult Sports Opportunities
- Ball Complexes: Oversee youth and adult baseball, softball, flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball leagues. May also oversee gym activities as assigned.
- SPARC Youth Sport League Opportunities:
- Gym Monitor: Monitor gym and school facilities during basketball and volleyball practices for SPARC sport leagues.
- Site Director: Oversee youth soccer, basketball, and volleyball leagues, and gym activities as assigned.
- Referee/Umpire: Assist with basketball, soccer, and volleyball leagues for SPARC youth leagues.
- Recreation Opportunities:
- Outdoor Initiatives: Lead and assist with outdoor programs like kayaking, canoeing, hiking, backpacking, cave tours, and more.
- Family Centers: Monitor activities in fitness and gym areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.
- Accessible Recreation: Assist individuals with disabilities in recreation programs and events.
- Bus Monitor: Supervise and ensure safety for individuals with disabilities during bus rides.
- Tennis Programs: Assist with youth tennis programs alongside certified instructors.
- Senior Programs: Support recreation activities for seniors (55+), including supervising transportation for individuals with disabilities.
- Public Ice Skate Monitor: Distribute rental skates and monitor skating sessions; ability to ice skate is required.
- Zam Driver / Ice Park Operations Assistant: Operate Zamboni, assist with facility operations, maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Archery Programs: Lead and assist with archery activities, ensuring safety and equipment maintenance.
- Doling Park History Museum: Assist with displays, tours, and event operations.
- Fieldhouse: Monitor court activities, ensure safety, and provide customer service.
Candidate's pay rate will be determined at the time of offer, based on experience and education.
Experience, Education, and Training
- Entry-level position; no experience required.
- PREFERRED: Specific experience in the program area may be advantageous.
Licensing/Certification
- Valid Missouri Motor Vehicle Operator's License required if operating a motor vehicle for job duties.
