Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Wire Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precision welding of small components using resistance welding techniques, ensuring high-quality and reliable welds in accordance with industry and company standards. This position requires attention to detail, steady hands, and experience working with fine materials and micro-welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform micro resistance welding on small components, including metals such as stainless steel, nickel, and copper.
  2. Set up and operate micro-welding equipment, including resistance spot and seam welding machines.
  3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in welding processes.
  4. Inspect welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications using magnification tools, microscopes, or precision measuring instruments.
  5. Adjust welding parameters such as current, pressure, and time to optimize weld quality.
  6. Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure consistent performance.
  7. Work under a microscope or magnification when needed for intricate welding tasks.
  8. Follow safety procedures and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Maintain accurate records of welding parameters, inspections, and quality checks.
  10. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve welding defects.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in welding is a plus).
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in micro resistance welding or precision welding.
  3. Experience working in industries such as electronics, medical devices, aerospace, or precision manufacturing is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of resistance spot welding (RSW), seam welding, and projection welding techniques.
  5. Familiarity with welding standards and quality control procedures (e.g., AWS, ISO, or MIL-SPEC standards).
Skills
  1. Precision and attention to detail – ability to work with small components under a microscope.
  2. Strong hand-eye coordination and steady hands for handling delicate welding operations.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  4. Proficiency in using micro-welding equipment, resistance welders, and measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, magnifiers, etc.).
  5. Basic understanding of metallurgy and how different materials react to welding processes.
  6. Problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot welding defects.
  7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
