Job summary

Pennoni is seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for full-time and part-time roles in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area to support fabrication shops that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies.

Inspectors will review welding and coatings, monitor shop drawings, coordinate with fabricators and engineers, and produce daily reports, working both independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
• Computer skills: Windows & MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and with others.
• Need reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials.
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers.
• Production of daily written shop reports.
