Job summary

CDR Maguire Inc. seeks a Resident Construction Manager for a multi-year Turnpike project. The candidate should have bridge Turnpike experience and live within or travel between Mile Post 200 and the Delaware River Bridge.

The role oversees meetings with contractors, change orders, schedule management, safety, document control, and coordination with the owner to maintain project quality and timely delivery. Relocation or sponsorship is not available; local candidates are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• NICET Level 3 certification (Level 4 preferred).
• Professional Engineer license in good standing preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' construction inspection/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall construction operations for large highway projects.
• Direct inspection staff and ensure client satisfaction.
• Manage documentation, submittals, and contractor compliance.
• Coordinate safety plans and quality control programs.
• Communicate with owners, contractors, and management.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering

NICET Level 3 Certification

Professional Engineer license

10+ years construction inspection supervisory experience
