Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking an experienced Bridge and Structures Project Manager to lead bridge and transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will mentor junior staff, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and deliver designs that meet agency criteria.

Strong client coordination and technical leadership are essential. The role focuses on bridge/transportation structures with opportunities to support other structure types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field and PE license.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible structural design experience with concrete, steel, and timber.
• Pacific Northwest experience delivering bridge/transportation design projects.
• Proven task and project management experience; bridge PM preferred.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software (CSiBridge, LPILE, SAP2000, RISA-3D).

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, manage, and perform bridge and structural engineering for transportation, industrial, and public works projects.
• Lead project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and staffing.
• Prepare and oversee structural calculations, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership for new bridge design, rehabilitation, and retrofit.
• Ensure designs meet codes and permitting requirements.
