Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our Transportation team in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on detailed design of bridges and roadway structures for FDOT projects, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and collaborate with top local transportation experts.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, 6+ years in structural transportation, and ideally a FL PE license or be eligible to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE License in Florida strongly desired or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 6+ years of Structural Engineering experience on transportation/roadway projects.
• Proficiency with computer software packages and automated engineering/design equipment.
• Demonstrated accountability, communication, planning & organization, and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and detailed design of bridges and roadway structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations and sketches; review drawings and BIM models.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Perform QA/QC of final design packages prior to construction issuance.
• Communicate timelines and project updates with staff and clients.
• Provide written and verbal reports under tight deadlines for multiple projects.
