McHenry County College seeks Dual Credit Instructors to teach college courses at partner high schools, delivering college-aligned content with rigor and clear learning outcomes.
You will manage syllabi, submit course materials before class, maintain student rosters, and perform timely grading and enrollment verification within the college system, collaborating with the Career Readiness department and high school partners.
Instructor are paid through their school district and their work weeks will vary per semester.
Position SummaryDual Credit Instructors teach college courses at the high school, covering college content at a rigorous level, allowing students to earn both high school and college credit. All dual credit courses shall be equivalent in course content, rigor, student learning outcomes, syllabi components, and assessment and evaluation of student learning outcomes as courses offered at the College.
