Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. seeks a motivated Structural Engineer Internship for Summer 2027 in our Bridge Structures team. The internship runs 40 hours per week with a minimum of 10 weeks between mid-May and August end.

• Currently enrolled in ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist structural design calculations, drawings, and specs for bridges under supervision.
• Support structural modeling and analysis tasks.
• Participate in inspection activities: field data collection, reporting, documentation.
• Review construction and shop drawings for design intent compliance.
• Attend site visits with engineers to observe progress and verify field conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines.
• Assist with preparation of project reports, cost estimates, and proposals.
