Job summary

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking a Structural Engineer to design bridges and transportation structures across PA locations. You will work in a team environment on simple and complex projects, including proposals, plans, estimates, and construction support.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of PennDOT/PA Turnpike experience, a BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferred), and FE exam completion with PE preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering; MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5–10 years’ experience with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike.
• FE exam completed (PE preferred).
• Proficiency with PennDOT structural design software and other industry-standard tools.
• Driving is required for site visits and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform structure design for bridge and transportation projects.
• Coordinate tasks with junior engineers and technicians.
• Assist in schedule, budget, and construction documents.
