Qualifications

• Journey Level – two years in maintenance or mechanical work under supervision, or training through a bridge/technical trade program.
• Trainee 2 – CDL and more than one year but less than two years of qualifying experience.
• Trainee 1 – Class D license and less than one year of qualifying experience.
• Cannabis use is not permitted for employees in this title and will be tested during pre-employment screening.

Responsabilités

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance and repair activities in bridge maintenance operations.
• Apply knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment to bridge repair tasks.
• Operate tools and equipment required for bridge repair and maintenance.
• Understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Contribute to the Incident Command System during regional/statewide emergencies.
• Participate in Winter Maintenance including Snow & Ice removal.
