Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a technically proficient engineer transitioning into Project Management to lead small to medium bridge projects across New England. You will manage scope, budget, and schedule while guiding a core team of structural engineers and maintaining work-life balance.

The role involves developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with client satisfaction. Bachelor's in Engineering and 8 years of experience required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation and assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan; supervise and mentor staff.
• Coordinate staffing with managers, including recruitment, development, retention, and performance reviews.
