Role Overview

As part of HDR's Transportation Business Group, the Bridge Project Manager will lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects.
• Coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development.
• Establish client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance.
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
• Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort to keep projects within agreed schedule.
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• A license/certification.
• PMP certification.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, with excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
