Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Michigan is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Bridges & Structures team. The role supports design and analysis for highway bridges across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with potential for remote work within those states.

Qualified candidates hold a civil engineering degree, 5+ years of bridge design experience, and EIT; PE licensure is preferred. Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads, plus Civil3D, and knowledge of DOT/AASHTO codes are

• Design complete projects, systems, components or processes.
• Prepare advanced general and basic non-routine engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
• Prepare complete project documents.
• Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems.
• Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedule assignments.
• Assist with proposal development for professional services.
• Perform field investigations/site visits as needed.

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking Project Engineers to join our Bridges & Structures team in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey! This position has the potential for remote work within these states.

Our bridge experts partner with our clients to understand project objectives, while formulating solutions that result in successful outcomes that are safe, efficient, economical and sensitive to the environment. This highly skilled team of professionals offers a full range of bridge services from scoping, planning and preliminary engineering through final design, for small to large scale bridges.

Responsibilities

• Apply broad knowledge of bridge engineering principles and practices.
