Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Bridge Market Leader to guide our structural team, lead bridge projects, manage scope, schedule and budget, and coordinate with clients and subconsultants to deliver high‑quality designs.

The role supports business development and project pursuits while advancing quality and efficiency across our structures group. Base compensation ranges $140,000–$175,000, reflecting skill and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in MN.
• Experience managing bridge engineering projects with scope, budget, and schedule.
• Experience delivering bridge projects for state DOTs, counties, or municipalities.
• Experience developing proposals, negotiating scope and fees, and securing work.
• Familiarity with AASHTO codes and LRFD bridge design.

Responsibilities

• Lead Minnesota-focused bridge projects and coordinate scope, schedule and budget.
• Oversee delivery of bridge designs and quality control.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support business development including client outreach and proposals.
• Promote quality improvement and efficiency within the structures group.
