The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation, District 9, is seeking a Bridge Maintenance Coordinator in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will lead seasonal bridge maintenance programs, coordinate county crews, and supervise staff to keep bridges safe and reliable.

Working hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential AWS and telework options discussed during interviews; full-time, non-union, in-state travel across District 9 counties.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Highway Foreman 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Five years of technical experience in highway maintenance or highway construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

THE POSITION

The Bridge Maintenance Coordinator position with the Department of Transportation, District 9 offers an exciting opportunity to lead important projects that keep our bridges safe and reliable. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees seasonal bridge maintenance activities, supports county crews, and manages project planning and coordination across District 9. It also supervises building maintenance staff and ensures timely communication with engineering and design units. As a Bridge Maintenance Coordinator, you will perform the following duties:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment


• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.


• This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS)


• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Hollidaysburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
