Responsibilities

• Performs independent hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for stream crossing structures and designs for grade separation.
• Evaluates alternatives and prepares cost estimates for practical structural designs.
• Prepares bridge memorandums for new or rehab projects and ensures compliance with guidelines.
• Liaises with state/federal agencies, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary information and permits.
• Coordinates with division/district personnel to obtain data and surveys.
