Job summary
Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation (MMTC) is a private real estate lender seeking a Loan Originator to source, vet, foster, and close relationships for Bridge Loan programs. Ideal candidates have experience with Fix & Flip and Ground Up construction borrowers and strong communication to thrive in a competitive sales role.
Role requires building relationships with borrowers, managing paperwork, and delivering market insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of experience originating bridge loans and a minimum monthly self-sourced pipeline of $3m.
- Established book of business.
- Excel, Word and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close on prospective bridge loan borrowers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with borrowers.
- Obtain all required paperwork and financial information from perspective borrowers.
- Report business development and sales activity.
- Meet with new and existing prospects.
- Help develop and execute business plans with thorough market and competitor analysis.
