Job summary

HNTB in New York, NY is seeking a senior bridge engineer to lead evaluation, design, and rehabilitation calculations on complex projects from concept to delivery.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, develop analytical models to assess load capacity, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion. A PE and experience with AASHTO standards, BrR, and CSiBridge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work, and manage schedule and budget.
• Assist in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Oversee accuracy of team’s work and mentor staff to project objectives.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client and partners at staff level.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
