Job summary

Ayres Associates is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader in the Southeast to lead inspection programs, mentor staff, and drive business development. You could be atop bridges or inspecting submerged structures, traveling up to half the time to client sites across the region.

The role requires 5+ years of bridge inspection or design experience, FHWA-NHI training, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bridge inspection, load rating, and/or design experience.
• FHWA-NHI Bridge Inspection Team Leader training completed.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with business development efforts with new and existing clients.
• Lead or assist with team planning and coordination to complete inspections.
• Perform initial, routine, in-depth, and NSTM inspections of bridges, dams, and other structures.
• Develop and review inspection reports summarizing outcomes and condition assessments.
