The role involves fabricating and installing formwork, assisting with concrete placement and finishing, and operating a wide range of hand and power tools on multiple job sites. The candidate must read construction plans, follow directions from the Project Superintendent, and ensure all work complies with codes and project specifications.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of carpentry experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Knowledge of Building Code requirements and safety practices.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform highway and bridge structure formwork, including curb and gutter form fabrication.
• Assist masons with placing and finishing concrete, including flatwork and structural elements.
• Read and interpret construction plans, basic design documents, and specifications.
• Ensure work complies with applicable Building Code requirements.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Perform physical labor as needed to support project progress.
• Follow directions from the Project Superintendent and work effectively as part of a field crew.
