Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Project Superintendent for a North Tampa Bay bridge/ heavy civil project. You will oversee field operations, lead foremen and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence on a design-build highway and bridge job north of Tampa Bay.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of bridge experience, FDOT contract familiarity, and a proven superintendent background on bridge or interchange projects. Relocation to Tampa Bay area is welcomed.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Experience as a superintendent running a bridge or interchange project.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA competent person.
• Clean driving record.
• Design-build experience is a plus.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work.
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Set production goals and hold crews to them.
• Plan the work with the project manager and engineers.
• Own jobsite safety and act as the OSHA competent person.
• Work directly with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team.
• Track quantities, production and field cost against budget.
• Keep daily reports and field documentation current.
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries.
