This position in our Bridge/Heavy-Civil Team offers the opportunity to partner with diverse clients on projects that transform and improve communities. It is a rewarding career opportunity to lead and manage project teams, designing solutions such as highway and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, and fish-passage structures.

The role involves leading and participating in engineering design and management of transportation projects in the Inland Northwest and beyond, including:

  • Leading planning, design, and construction support on infrastructure projects.
  • Developing and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Engaging with clients to define and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Performing structural design and analyses.
  • Growing our practice in the Inland Northwest.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Washington State or ability to obtain via reciprocity
  • 7-12 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSCE or MSE with emphasis in Structural Engineering
  • Experience in designing and constructing reinforced concrete and structural steel structures
  • Proficiency with CSI Software Suite (SAP, CSI Bridge), PG Super, or similar software
  • Experience monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and eager to develop as a structural engineer
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior engineers
  • Passionate about providing exceptional client service
  • Strong technical and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

  • Primarily office-based, requiring prolonged sitting
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs
  • Field visits involving walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain
  • Travel to project sites or meetings, including driving or flying

Compensation:

The salary range is $115,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience, education, and skills. Performance bonuses are also offered. Details will be provided during the interview process.
