HNTB Corporation is seeking an Engineer III to support bridge and railroad structure projects across Connecticut and the Northeast. You will develop designs and calculations, prepare reports, and collaborate with project managers to meet schedules.

Opportunities include major bridge rehabilitation, movable bridges, and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience (or higher degrees with fewer years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or higher) with relevant experience.
• Advanced degrees improve candidacy (Master/PhD).
• Experience in bridge/rail projects preferred; knowledge of standards helpful.

Responsabilités

• Complete work within allocated schedule and hours.
• Develop project specifications and discipline elements/deliverables.
• Coordinate with project team and provide guidance to juniors.
• Quality control of engineering deliverables and drawings.
• Assist with planning schedules and workload distribution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
