Location

Various project sites (primarily New York City, with potential assignments nationwide)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bridge and structural inspections in accordance with NYC and applicable regulatory standards
• Document field observations, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate project records
• Ensure construction work complies with plans, specifications, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers
• Monitor construction activities, materials, and workmanship

• Travel to and work on project sites across the country, potentially for extended durations

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• ICC certifications (highly desirable)
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
• Experience with bridge inspection programs (e.g., NBIS)
• Familiarity with inspection software and reporting tools
• Ability to assist with engineering design, calculations, or analysis
• OSHA certification (e.g., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to remain active and on your feet for a full shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to access elevated or confined areas (bridges, scaffolding, etc.)
• Must be adaptable to changing project locations and schedules
